The EO Dashboard allows users to independently explore indicators, but it relies on visual interpretations to understand what is changing and where. How could the Dashboard do a better job of highlighting significant change, and point the user in the right direction?

Appropriate guiding is an essential step to further improve your decisions and direct it into the right direction, and this guiding must be presented in a simple way to make it beneficial as possible so, this application was built for this purpose, as it represents conclusions from the data in the earth observation dashboard simply by a unique grading system that helps in comparing between different fields in many aspects.

How I Addressed This Challenge

we have developed an application that uses data from the original earth observation dashboard that visualize conclusions from the changing data to guide users by giving them a nudge through making decisions that are related to different aspects of life. The application compares between sets of data for a given location and time to visualize the changes over time to help making decision about this data for an example: suppose you are intending to start a new project and you are confused between starting a grocery store or renting an apartment the app will evaluate, based on a point grading system, both fields in terms of productivity and stability over a given period of time to help in directing the decision making process.

Hopefully, the application will be a trusted guide through many decisions making in the users lives.

How I Developed This Project

A friend of us was planning to start a project and he did not get an appropriate guiding so, he ended up changing his project field multiple times until he found the right place for him. So, we decided that we should have an appropriate guiding before starting a project. We started studying and analyzing the data found on the earth observation dashboard and build our own conclusions developing our project based on it.

We saw that making our conclusions by a basic representation would help anyone to use it easily so, we made a mobile application by using android studio with flatter being the coding language because it is more suitable for business because it has advantages more than it’s risks and to make this app cross platform to be suitable for both IOS and android systems and we designed the application with adobe XD and we have brought all the application data from the earth observation dashboard.

We had a problem building the basic representation for our conclusions that we wanted to use but, we had solved this problem by creating our own grading system that helps in making a clear comparison between different aspects in the application.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

Our application is based on conclusions that are derived from the data available on the earth observation dashboard, we have used the data that is available in the shape of graphs and maps and converted it into a basic representation to help a better understanding of the data. We have used the mobility data to make conclusions about which criteria has a better stability and productivity in each period of time which servers our project needs the best.

The Applicatiopn will be a minor development for the original dashboard as the grading system will be the major addition to the source code of the dashboard and the independent application will import the main data from the earth observing dashboard.
