The EO Dashboard has multiple global maps for air quality and greenhouse gases in GeoTIFF file format. Your challenge is to create a spatial analysis and time series plotting tool for EO Dashboard air quality and greenhouse gas GeoTIFF datasets.

Summary

The project deals with merging the data regarding air quality and gas emissions from different sources available to provide a variety of data to the user regarding a given location. In this project, the data available for the United States was studied from different resources available and then merged together to provide the variety of information available to the user at a single place without having to search for the data at different sources. In the end a mean value for each factor is provided, which is the sum of the values for the same factor available at different resources divided by the number of resources used. It helps the user to find the variation of each dataset from mean value.

How I Addressed This Challenge

We developed a software that merges the data for a factor such as air pollution, Tropospheric NO2, etc. available from different resources and shows all the data in one single graph with the name of the resource. This saves the user a lot of time by not having to search for the value of a given factor at different places and provides the data as well as the comparison of all the available data at one place. In the end it also provides the mean value for a factor which helps in finding the variation of a source from the mean value. It also provides the user an option to select the minimum, media or the maximum value for a factor. This project helps in the betterment of the data available for the United States. This software improves the readability of the data and is also very user friendly as it reduces the labor of the user by not having to search for the data at different places. A user friendly software attract more people towards science and thus help in the overall development of the World and this is the motto of our project.

How I Developed This Project

We choose this challenge because of we facing struggles in current situation towards nature. Every five hours once we hear news like Forest fire, volcanic eruption, heavy snow fall etc. Other than this it's everyone's responsibility to conserve nature. Firstly we approach to develop a working model, but due to shortage of time we forced to pull down for PPT presentation. We used Python as coding language and Google colab as interface and UI implementation of our project is based on gradio and heroku. Of course we face problems like lesser no.of team members, can't able to put our full efforts towards project and most importantly we have faced problem on webapp implementation due to shortage of time. faced the all consequences by the way we developed our project.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used space agency data in vast manner.we use NASA,JXA data for used to plot time series graph and emission value of NO2 in certain places etc. It was very useful for developing our project.
