Spatial Analysis and Time Series

The EO Dashboard has multiple global maps for air quality and greenhouse gases in GeoTIFF file format. Your challenge is to create a spatial analysis and time series plotting tool for EO Dashboard air quality and greenhouse gas GeoTIFF datasets.

EODAC (Earth Observation Data App Compare)

Summary

The initial proposal for SPATIAL ANALYSIS AND TIME SERIES challenge was to change the the measurement scale and numbers colors, but I seat to think and I agree that maybe you can visualize better the graph but is not a real change that can be very relevant when you analyze the data. So I concluded that it was missing an important function for data analysis and comparison in the dashboard, so i develop EODAC demo. It is about a tool that makes you able to compare data easy and qick.

How I Addressed This Challenge

My project consists in a web app principally made with javascript language to compare registered data in diferents dates to make better analysis from Sentinel-5p satelite data.

How I Developed This Project

This project was developed in visual studio code editor working with different technologies.HTML, CSS and Javascript for the visual part (frontend), mysql and node.js for the functional part (backend). Also I used git for version control and github to save it in cloud.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

I used the data from space agencys to have in my mind the ideas of how the covid affected the world.

Earth Observing Dashboard Integration

May be applicable when comparing data from the same location.

Data & Resources

The data presented in the dashboard it is the main column of my proyect because from that i could make the database in mysql workbench for me to be able to export it later to visual studio code.
