Spatial Analysis and Time Series

The EO Dashboard has multiple global maps for air quality and greenhouse gases in GeoTIFF file format. Your challenge is to create a spatial analysis and time series plotting tool for EO Dashboard air quality and greenhouse gas GeoTIFF datasets.

Summary

We obtained the data through the eo dashboard platform and made a presentation for it in the form of a interactive graph and set it maximum, minimum, median for each month from May 1, 2018 until 2021.

How I Addressed This Challenge

We developed the graph to be an interactive graph That would help people worldwide to know how covid-19 had an impact on gas percentages in air such as Nitrogen gas .It shows the difference of the percent of NO2 in the atmosphere before and after Covid-19.When you click on any point on the graph, it shows you the data (MIN, MAX, Median, and STD) of the percent of NO2 for an interval of time.We hope this graph helps people to understand the percentages clearly.

How I Developed This Project

We saw that the quality of air and the percent of gases in it is very important because changes in it affects all organisms on earth, So it's important to understand this percentages to know how much will it effect ourselves.


Our approach is


1) selection of project management practices that the project management team should perform based on the specific, high-level project characteristics gathered from the project charter.


2)Define the project requirements.


3) Design interaction and visual concepts and evolve them into detailed specifications.


4)Develop, test, and refine the solution.


- we used HTML and Python to make a website that we can download the data in it.


-the problem that faced us what we did a theoretical or a practical project? Then we read the Instructions.


The second thing that we faced us was a time.Time is a double edged weapon,So we tried to manage it but sometimes it wasted some time.we had many achievement that we know how We could make a interactive graph on power bi ,made an website and search a lot about the challenge.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used this resources to get all the data represented in the analytic graph, we got from them the NO2 prcentage in each year in Egypt before and after Covid_19 as these are trusted resources from NASA, ESA and JAXA websites.

Earth Observing Dashboard Integration

This data we used well and were able to benefit from it.


now I am going to explain what we did. 1) we chose the challenge of water and made a project but unfortunately the project wasn't done well, so we tried to understand the challenge firstly.


2) we chose the challenge of air and decided to make a project on Tropospheric NO2 (μmol/m²).


3) we download the data and tried to represent it as well as we could.


4) we followed the instructions.


5)we made a website with HTML to download some information about the project and the link of drive.
