The COVID-19 pandemic offered an unprecedented opportunity to look at changes in the Earth system in response to reduced human activity. Your challenge is to develop tools to better understand changes in the interconnected Earth system as seen through the EO Dashboard.
It consists of a tool that provides visualizations for people about the change of water status during covid-19 was affected at the Adriatic Sea in Italy before and after the lock down.
Developed visualizations for the effect of covid-19 on water quality, It is important since it shows people what was the status of the water quality, during the pandemic and after the pandemic. our project is a visualization for the concentration of the TSM before and after the pandemic, we hope that it can help more people who are curious about the water quality status during the pandemic and how it was affected.
Our team has chose this challenge, since we wanted to learn more about the status of water quality during the pandemic and how the water quality has effects on other aspects of the environment, and wanted to make something useful that may help people by developing a tool that provides information about how the effect of water quality has affected another aspects. Excel helped developing our visualization of the water. visualizations were uploaded on Google Drive.
The EO dashboard that is provided by NASA helped knowing the impact of the pandemic on the water quality, benefited from the visualizations provided by NASA satellites, and used the the water quality regional maps (JAXA) to know the concentration of the TSM to make our visualizations.
