Looking at the Big Picture

The COVID-19 pandemic offered an unprecedented opportunity to look at changes in the Earth system in response to reduced human activity. Your challenge is to develop tools to better understand changes in the interconnected Earth system as seen through the EO Dashboard.

Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic offered an unprecedented opportunity to look at changes in the Earth system in response to reduced human activity. It has also disrupted daily activities across multiple sectors globally. The extent of its impact on the global economy and its key sectors, especially water, wastewater, and associated sectors such as agriculture, is still unclear. So to study this data and getting values by studying we need this project.

How I Addressed This Challenge

Acknowledging what you don’t know empowers you to seek out more. Our project mainly focuses on getting the data of water quality from the Chlorophyll-a concentration anomaly dataset. This data represents a pictorial or graph that gives us a value of Water Quality in Pandemic, in New York, Water Quality Value Dependency on Sensor Device and Region-wise VS Measurement Value.

How I Developed This Project

We saw many challenges but Water being affected due to many ways and also in Covid Situation some parts of the water healed or we can say regained purity. So analyzing it will be a good task for us and Water is everything "Water Water Everywhere Neither a drop to drink", with this we can see water purity is the greatest concern. We developed the project by creating a webpage then adding some animation and 3d effects. Then we applied the approach by making graphs from the given data. Tools - HTML.CSS,JavaScript and JSON, VScode, CodePen, jupyter notebook ,StackOverflow(in errors), three.js and water.N3b. It was not quite easy for us to get related data and datasets, many errors in our algorithm were the problems we faced during the completion of the project. We learned many tech and non-tech-related things during the completion of the project.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used water quality space agency data and time series in our project. It influenced our project in a greater way as this was the data on which this project can be developed.
