Storytelling in the COVID-19 Era

The longer human activities are changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the more visible, wider, and longer lasting the scope of environmental impacts may be. Your challenge is to tell a visual story about the impacts of the pandemic using Earth observation data and other complementary information.

To change for a Reborn

Summary

We have developed in this challenge a visual story about the impacts of the pandemic using Earth observation data and other complementary information from Nasa and Jaxa, Esa and it works by creatives images but also the photos With this visual story we want to communicate the environmental impacts of the pandemic using publicly available geospatial information and Earth observations, and exactly the impacts on the Earth system about the climate change It is important because it allow to understand the dynamics of this local, global regional impact and hence the name of our time

How I Addressed This Challenge

We have developed in this challenge a visual story as an artistic/scientific stoytelling about the impacts of the pandemic and it works by creatives images but also the photos some those of the Jaxa Agency website concerning the sea ice if the Japan

Really the global impact of Covid-19 was not positive on the Earth system about the climate change but all is today as before the pandemic

How I Developed This Project

The possibility to represent our work with a visaul story inspired our teamto choose this callenge.

We used the manual tools and tools of Photoshop

Our team had not problems and it had as achievement to have an original and simple artistic/scientific stoytelling

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

The data from the Nasa and NASA's partner agencies was used for the challenge with the comparison among them and it influenced the project when the artwork were created

Earth Observing Dashboard Integration

The solution may be integrated into the Earth Observing Dashboard through the comparison among the data of the CO2 and the greehouse gas of Tokyo( and also overall), and the Chlorophyll-a concentration that are on the Nasa website

For this reason I have represent in an artwork the nature among the ice with the shape of the Earth' motion

Also the documentation is to the same link :https://www.premioceleste.it/ita_artista_projects/idu:82648/idn:2276/

Data & Resources

We used the data of the CO2 and the greehouse gas of Tokyo( and also overall), and the Chlorophyll-a concentration from the Earth Observing Dashboard. that are on the Nasa website

The data many scientific influenced for creation of our project becaiuse thans to them it is not only a creative visual story but also many scientific
