Storytelling in the COVID-19 Era

The longer human activities are changed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the more visible, wider, and longer lasting the scope of environmental impacts may be. Your challenge is to tell a visual story about the impacts of the pandemic using Earth observation data and other complementary information.

PyCovid predictor

Summary

Our project is a predictor by AI and Python that can predict the cases in the future by knowing the old cases then make a graph and polynomial equation. This equation has a specific degree. This project helps us to know how people will do in the future and how the activities will be changing because the cases increase over time and vaccines may help or not. This project predicted the cases by knowing the old cases and the accuracy was 99.653% and it is pretty good.

How I Addressed This Challenge

This project was developed by AI and Python. It predicts the cases in the future by knowing the old cases and use polynomial equations with a specific degree, which will help us to know how the world be, how can we save us, and how a defense that. This project will make us know how the activities of humans will change over time because of the cases and how that will affect on earth's atmosphere and ozone hole as the gases will decrease. The importance of it in how it will make us ready for cases, the worst cases, and how activities change over time. We found that age was the most important factor for predicting disease severity, followed by lymphocyte level, platelet count, and shortness of breath or dyspepsia.

How I Developed This Project

We chose the challenge because this challenge helps us to make storytelling for covid 19 in activities. We developed this project by Python, AI, and using polynomial equations. We faced some errors in our projects and we tried to solve them and then the accuracy of the project was low but we heightened it by increasing the degree of the polynomial equation and use more data.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used data from NASA as we used covid 19 cases data and ozone hole to know how the activities of the human will be changing, so we used this data for predicting the future and use the polynomial equation with a specific degree.
