The COVID-19 pandemic has had different impacts in different regions of the world. Your challenge is to perform a comparative analysis of the pandemic’s economic impacts in urban areas for the USA, Asia, and Europe using the EO Dashboard.
We have collected data from the dashboard to represent sectors that belong to the interconnected earth system. We have compared the data from before and after the COVID19 pandemic. A lot of patterns were found in the data. We could clearly see the impact of COVID19 on various sectors. We have chosen 3 regions to analyze - Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East. We have compared the amount of pollutants and greenhouse gases, the mobility data, the impact of COVID 19 on daily life, and its impact on the economy. All of this data led to a lot of clarity of how the pandemic impacted life, industry and nature.
The data changes through time and the level of lockdown. The air quality says that very well. But it is not all in vain. The economy plummeted. But the air is now clean. It gives us another chance to stop emissions and prevent global catastrophe. This data is proof that there is hope.
We came up with a strategy:
Looking at the data and analyzing them is something really interesting and fun to do. We had lot's of fun integrating this data in our project and using this as our base knowledge source for various things. We researched on the topics we wanted to work on and then searched more on the data. We included the data from the space agencies in our technical reports and slides. We studied the graph and applied how these data could be understood in the real life. Not only did we use the data for this hackathon but we studied it to understand the globe's current status and surrounding's better.
Our Solution is to have an intuitive idea of how the Data the dashboard has provided can be used in a unique way by having a system, No one knows when this pandemic will end but for sure we know we can find a way. Basically, The way we proceeded is by looking at issue narrowing it down to the root cause of the issue and then putting our solutions and idea sown so that is suitable for the dashboard as well
Our solution integrates with the dashboard's love for Science, Math and Technology, Our solution which has a detailed analysis of this Global Crisis in a unique manner providing solutions on the way which can be solved using basic science, Maths and coding for sure, Using our solution we might have a new takedown to this crisis of global pandemic.
