Urban Societal Behavior Patterns During COVID-19

The COVID-19 pandemic is currently bringing unprecedented impacts to every aspect of human life. Your challenge is to better understand societal trends in response to COVID-19 through the analysis of remote sensing data and products.

Urban Societal Behavior Patterns During COVID-19

Summary

We aim to collect relevant data from EO Dashboard as well as from other available websites. We will be corp orating each other and will work as one. The USBPDC Observation Association will create an overview of the Economic Impact. We will also use the data at the EO DASHBOARD to collect individual data under the section of Economic Impact. At the last, we will create a total grand data that will have the combined data of all the sections infer and understand the impact level.

How I Addressed This Challenge

Our projects will help understand the pattern of changes in the Economy in different parts of the World. We hold this from the principle to counter something or take any action against something we must understand how it works and how it makes it moves. The Grand Data at the last will help us understand this and help take precautionary measures against this. We hope to counter its attacks with utmost success in order to keep our system stable and thrive even in the worst of times.

How I Developed This Project

We realized after checking a few resources that these covid times are affecting Economy the most, even more than health. Thus we felt that it is our duty to aware of the population of its effect, how to control it, and understand it. It was the main inspiration for us. We tried to approach the project in a practical way, though it does have theoretical data as well. we thought that if we were the public and the judges what kind of work we will want and expect. The first problem we had was to communicate with each other, which we overcame through a series of introduction meets. Then one of our team members had some problem so he had to leave. This struck us like a blow. We had to build our entire assets and distribution from scratch. After that everything went on smoothly and our greatest achievement, we got to know something new.

How I Used Space Agency Data in This Project

We used the data from ESA and The Dashboard for some of our requirements. It is always possible to use some data-based website but to study and observe something practically is what makes the difference The USBPDC Observation Association is all about. We have made a few of our own key points while observing the high-profile images and SAR observations. One of our principles also includes seeing and observe the calm in the chaos, i.e. to observe the minor detail in a big painting. The sky is not the limit.
