The COVID-19 pandemic is currently bringing unprecedented impacts to every aspect of human life. Your challenge is to better understand societal trends in response to COVID-19 through the analysis of remote sensing data and products.
Working from home because of the Covid-19 pandemic has made the environment cleaner, people are happier working from home because they can spend more time with their families, no stress in driving and everything it entails, people are more productive in work, people save money by buying everything online, since the bars are closed people aren’t drinking and causing problems outside, people are investing their time in themselves.
By investing their time at home, people will research more about themselves and hopefully improve themselves through education. By researching computer science and data science, we will be able to identify our weaknesses and solve our problems. The more time invested in research will help us solve any financial troubles.
This is important because the investment of time in science makes you focus on real goals and you don’t get distracted by superficial buys nor superficial social events.
We chose this challenge because in finance and human behavior. The data showed us how consumer trends shifted from physical stores to online buying.
We used the data from the EO dashboard and google analytics.
We compared the data from the EO dashboard from current to past dates. We focused our attention to San Diego county in California because that is where we live. We also compared the graphs and downloaded the .csv files and tried to compare it.
The solution is to invest time in research and with family. We need to erase the time wasted in superficial events. Thus, solving all major problems in our life and as a society.
My solution would be integrated by developing a forecasting tool that would give future results on time spent.
