At that time I thought of a way to oblige people to wear their masks everywhere. we started searching and learning more about Al and Machine Learning. After weeks of searching, we begin work on the project. It's an Application powered by AI and Machine Learning. At the beginning of the project, it needs permission to camera. Then analyzes the face if you wear a mask it allows user to use thing whether mobile, ATM and security camera and say "Thank you for wearing your mask, you can use". If you don't wear a mask it doesn't allow the user to use the thing and repeat "Please, wear your mask".
This project isn't a previous idea, but we created it. Let me say what things that we will develop soon. We hope to create a mobile application with the same idea and in this way, we can required people to wear masks from home. Then we hope to develop it to apply in the E-commerce portal. We will achieve it in the future. This project very important As we will reduce a large percentage of the number of injured. In addition to the preservation of our lives. It is important to apply precautionary procedures. At the beginning of the project, it needs permission to camera. If we apply this app in ATM or security camera or anywhere and provide it with data of people this app can recognize the person without a mask and send a warning message for him to wear a mask otherwise, he will be fined. In this way, we will reduce a large percentage of the number of injured and raising the level of the economy.
When we read the challenges and searched for them, it caught our attention that the economic aspect faced a lot of loss in covid 19 periods. On the other hand, that the economic aspect is very important for each country, it is the way to the income for the citizens, Getting rid of poverty, Achieving a good standard of living, achieve happiness, state's position, Establishing and investing large projects within the country, development, and prosperity of the country. so that we decided to find a way to solve this problem.
The project is supported by AI and Machine Learning, and we focused on making all people wear their masks and Adhere to precautionary measures in supermarkets or everywhere to make the economic side work well and to maintain it during the covid 19 periods. We decided to apply for the project or program in ATM, the E-commerce portal, we want to put it everywhere in the supermarket and make a mobile application and connect it with its security to require people to wear a mask and provide it with data of people this app can recognize the person without a mask.
We used coding language like python, we made the project by using a laptop as hardware and software such as pictoblox and visual studio code.
There aren't any successful projects or any successful work if it didn't face any problem. We faced some problems in doing the project such as we didn't know anything about AI and Machine Learning, we faced inexperience in these fields so that we started to learn about them by taking courses and practice on them so it took much time to make the project. Another one, Lack of clarity of the idea of the project due to lack of information. there is another problem that we as a team could not sit together to consult or implement the project because the distance between us is far away. So these causes, our achievement is that we could finish choosing the challenge, searching on it, choosing the idea of the project, and learning AI and machine learning in a short time is a big achievement.
When we started the searching we searched a lot of sites and articles to get a large amount of data about the challenge (economic impact) and after we chose the idea of the project, we searched how we can apply this, we searched in a lot of sites, asked people who has experience in this field, and we had a lot of courses to collect much amount of data and information that make us able to apply the idea of the project. When we looked for NASA we found that NASA’s expenditures ripple throughout the economy, supporting critical industries, creating new businesses and jobs, and attracting students to science and engineering. NASA invests in technologies and discoveries for the future, and in the process, it delivers social and economic impacts that benefit the nation today. We knew from NASA how dangerous the Coronavirus is and the great negative effects it has left on the people in violating the fields and how dangerous the continuation of this virus. We benefited from the NASA application center and socioeconomic data, we knew that high population in the countries and they need the economic aspect so we got the idea of the project.
In our opinion, the project could be able to solve the challenge of economic impact by making all people wear their masks, Adhere to precautionary measures that help in continuing trade, and raising the level of the economy. so that, the project should be in the EO dashboard because it will be a reason to solve the problem that faces the world in the corona series. The project has the benefit that it supports all the languages now we made it in English and Arabic and it easy to add any language and it is provided with data of people, this app can recognize the person without a mask.
