The COVID-19 pandemic is currently bringing unprecedented impacts to every aspect of human life. Your challenge is to better understand societal trends in response to COVID-19 through the analysis of remote sensing data and products.
We are team EcoStormers. We have chosen the Economic impact. In our slides, we have incorporated both graphical representation of data as well as key points relating to the slide. We have gone into every sector that has been hugely affected by the COVID - 19 pandemic/lockdown. We have also put a solution for the future in the recovery and stabilisation of economy.
Our project has gone into details about the various sectors that have been affected by the pandemic / lockdown. It is important because it gives us the effects of COVID - 19 on the economic sector. It helps us get a new perspective about the various sectors that are affected due to COVID using the satellite data. Satellites continuously track and monitor the various aspects of our ever changing planet. The satellites are also in LEO ( Lower Earth Orbit ) which means that they stay in orbit for a very long time and are very effective because there are many satellites in LEO. We hope to someday defeat this virus by achieving herd/ring immunity. We also hope to achieve the stabilisation of the economy that has been going downhill and then eventual and rapid growth which will benefit humanity greatly.
We created the team EcoStormers in order to tackle one of the world's biggest crises that we have ever seen. The whole world is dependent on the economy because it is the pinnacle of humans and it controls the flow of money and the simultaneously results in a growth of all sectors. We have chosen the pictorial representation approach by adding graphs and pictures related to our slides. The text in the slides are made to accompany and compliment the whole slide. We used Canva to design our logo as well as online editors to increase the clarity of our images. For the slides, we initially went with google slides for the main content and pictures and then Powerpoint to add the finishing touches to our slides.
We got the information from both the internet as well as the EO dashboard. We used the data in one of our slides and it is very informative. We have got a lot of information from the EO dashboard hackathon and then we took some information from the internet and made it even better.
