The COVID-19 pandemic is currently bringing unprecedented impacts to every aspect of human life. Your challenge is to better understand societal trends in response to COVID-19 through the analysis of remote sensing data and products.
Our team’s project titled ‘societal behavioral patterns During Covid-19’ under the main topic of Economic Impact discusses and analyze about to say in brief-The harmful impacts of covid 19 for the economy of the world.-How these impacts have harmed the society and the behavior of the residents of the society, how their daily life and behavioral patterns have been affected.-How the covid 19 pandemic has contributed to some beneficial facts regarding the economy and human behavior.-How to get rid of the harmful impacts to the economy.-Get benefits by developing new ideas to how we can still maintain the world economy during the pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic and the resultant global response have dramatically altered people's daily lives. To curb the transmission of the virus, governments in many countries, regions and localities have implemented strict policies of social distancing and shelter-in-place (i.e. working from home or just staying home). These policies, together with more voluntary behavioral changes, have resulted in unprecedented shifts in human activity in a very short period, such as reduced travel, the closing down of much business activity and an increased time spent at home. These changes have had affected to the economy of the country, to the environment as well as to the human life beneficially and harmfully. Whole world is affected by Corona – virus. Like all the other fields, economy also drastically threatened as most of the people have lost their professions. The work force of the world has to face unexpected challenges to earn their living. In some cases, their living conditions deteriorated due to travelling restrictions. Almost all the employees have to stay at home and work. To face these challenges of Covid - 19 virus, we suggest to create a website to develop the economic conditions of the people who suffer from it.
We used the satellite images for analyzing by the NASA EarthData website. And we used the NASA Earth data YouTube videos to get a better understanding of the project overall. It was very useful in doing our project and was very informative.
